Azerbaijani Text to Speech with Native Voices

Type your text and hear it in Azerbaijani a few seconds later, read by a voice that grew out of the language rather than around it. The stress lands where it should, the intonation moves like speech, and numbers, dates and names are spoken the way a person would say them instead of being spelled out letter by letter. Pause tags let you set the rhythm yourself. Video, ads, audiobooks, news, course material — you write the text once and re-render the audio as often as you like, then download it as mp3. If you know the language as Azeri, this is the same thing: one language, and these are its voices.

Write your text and listen Pick a voice, set the pauses, download the mp3.

The text being read
Nazirlik bildirib ki, yeni qaydalar iyirmi üç mart tarixindən qüvvəyə minir, bunu Aygün Məmmədova xəbər verir.

Every track here is one of our own voices, unedited. The sentence is printed next to the player, so you can put the same words through anything else and judge for yourself.

Numbers and dates come out right

This is where multilingual voices stumble most often: figures, dates, amounts and abbreviations. Written as «2026», «23 March» or a sum of money, they tend to be read in English or spelled out one character at a time. Here they follow the rules of Azerbaijani, the way a person would say them. The samples below have all three in one sentence.

No foreign accent — hear it yourself

For Azerbaijani voice and accent quality we are the best of the comparable services, and the only honest way to show that is to let you listen. Below is the same sentence in each of our voices; anyone who speaks the language hears where it lands in the first few words.

You control the pauses

Pause tags inside the text put the breaths exactly where you want them: short for an ad, long for an audiobook. Re-rendering takes seconds, so there is nothing to book and nobody to call.

How it works

  1. Type or paste your text Pause tags let you set the rhythm as you go.
  2. Pick a voice Sevda, Emin and the emotional styles of the female voice.
  3. Listen and download The finished audio downloads as an mp3 file.

Our Azerbaijani voices

Azerbaijani has two native voices — Sevda, female, and Emin, male — plus emotional styles of the female voice. Templated services list hundreds of voices and not one of them is Azerbaijani: the language is read by a general multilingual voice, and any native speaker hears it in the first sentence. A voice count means nothing without the language behind it. English, Russian and Turkish have native voices as well, so the same script can go out to several audiences at once.

Other languages

  • Azerbaijani — two native voices plus emotional styles of the female voice.
  • English, Russian and Turkish have native voices too, so one script can go out to several audiences.
  • A voice or a language we don’t list yet is added on request.

For companies: your own announcer’s voice, free
