The rules for using Voices.az: your account, balance and payments, prohibited use, voice cloning, intellectual property, and the liability of both parties.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the relationship between "Learning Machine" LLC, Baku, Azerbaijan, which provides the Voices.az service, and the person using that service (the "User").
By registering or using the service the User accepts these Terms in full. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service. The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
The service may be used for lawful purposes only. Creating harmful or dangerous material of any kind, using the service for religious or political purposes, and creating material that breaches the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan are strictly prohibited — see section 3, "Prohibited use". A breach of that section leads to a permanent ban of the account with no refund of the balance.
The service may be used by persons aged 18 or over; users under 18 need the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
The service is intended for lawful purposes only. It must not be used to create harmful or dangerous material of any kind. The following are expressly prohibited:
Consequences of a breach. A breach of this section leads to a permanent ban of the account without prior notice. Any remaining balance, including unspent top-ups, is not refunded, and the account cannot be restored. Where the law requires it, we also report the breach to the competent authorities.
Voices.az provides the following AI-based services: text-to-speech voice-over, speech-to-text, video dubbing, voice cloning and a website-reader widget. The list of services, their features and their technical parameters may evolve.
Results are produced by automated algorithms. We do not guarantee any particular artistic, commercial or translation quality; checking the finished material before using it is the User's responsibility.
Your balance is a prepayment for the services, and a charge is made for each completed generation. Once a result has been generated and made available for download, the charge is final and is not refundable — regardless of whether the artistic quality of the result met your expectations.
A generation that fails through a fault of the service is not charged, and any amount already deducted is credited back to your balance automatically. An unused balance is refunded on written request made within 14 days of the top-up, to the same card that was used for it, less the payment provider's fee. Promotional and bonus credit is never refundable under any circumstances. No refund is made after an account has been banned for a breach of section 3, "Prohibited use".
If a service was not delivered because of a technical failure, or an incorrect amount was deducted from your balance, we return the funds to your balance on request. Write to [email protected].
By uploading a sample for voice cloning you confirm that the voice is your own, or that its owner has given explicit consent to it being synthesised and used. We may ask for documents evidencing that consent. Voice models created without consent, and the material produced from them, are deleted and the account is closed.
The catalogue may include voices of speakers who rent their voice out. Use of such voices is limited by the licence granted by the voice owner: the term, territory and permitted purposes follow the terms agreed with the voice owner at the moment the voice is published or rented out, as shown in the panel. A separate voice-rental agreement may be introduced later. Use in breach of that licence is prohibited.
The service is provided "as is" and we make reasonable efforts to keep it running without interruption. No separate availability guarantee (SLA) applies to self-service plans. We try to announce planned maintenance in advance. For corporate customers an SLA can be agreed separately.
We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profit or damage to business reputation arising from use of the service. In all cases our aggregate liability is limited to the total amount paid by the User in the three months preceding the event, and in no circumstances exceeds that amount.
The User is responsible for the lawfulness of the content created and for respecting the rights of third parties.
You may close your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. We may suspend access to an account in the event of a breach of these Terms, a payment dispute or harm caused to the service. After an account is closed, projects and files are deleted within the periods set out in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms. We announce material changes on this page or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new version.
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The parties seek to settle disputes by negotiation; failing agreement, a dispute is referred to the competent courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
